Former MLB superstar pitcher Trevor Bauer got slammed Tuesday with new allegations of sexual assault and other severe behavior by an Arizona woman, citing an alleged encounter between the two in 2020, USA Today reported.
Denying the claims, the one-time Cy Young Award winner filed a countersuit against the woman, according to USA Today.
The woman claims that Bauer — who played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians and Arizona Diamondbacks — raped her, got her pregnant and held a steak knife to her throat, USA Today reported. Originally filing a complaint back in December 2022, the woman is the fourth to slam allegations on the current Yokohama DeNA BayStars (Japan) baseball star.
The woman is looking for $3.7 million in damages and an “apology to any women the defendant has sexually humiliated and abused against their consent,” according to USA Today’s report.

Bauer‘s lawyers claim that the pitcher had a sole consensual encounter with the woman in December 2020, and during sex, the condom broke. In his countersuit, Bauer says that she claimed she was pregnant and requested $1.6 million to end the pregnancy, with the pitcher making an “audio recording” of the demand, the outlet reported.
The woman also alleges that Bauer held a steak knife to her throat, and that he also choked her with her braids, the outlet noted. She also alleges that he slammed her down, and that she was pregnant at the time. (RELATED: REPORT: Nick Kyrgios Admits He Was Suicidal, Was Put Into Psych Ward Following 2019 Wimbledon Defeat)
Bauer has yet to be charged with a crime.
