President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that Apple will invest another $100 billion into American manufacturing.

Apple CEO Tim Cook joined Trump to make the announcement from the Oval Office, and the investment is in addition to the $500 billion the company pledged earlier in 2025.

“Today, we’re proud to increase our investments across the United States to $600 billion over four years and launch our new American Manufacturing Program,” Cook stated in a press release. “This includes new and expanded work with 10 companies across America. They produce components that are used in Apple products sold all over the world, and we’re grateful to the President for his support.”

Through the American Manufacturing Program (AMP), Apple will increase its investment and production in the United States, a White House official told Daily Caller White House Correspondent Reagan Reese. (RELATED: Mars To Invest $2 Billion In US Manufacturing)

Trump is expected to announce at 4PM that Apple will commit a new $100 billion to American manufacturing, bringing its total investment to $600 billion, a WH officials shares with @DailyCaller.

AMP will also incentivize global companies to produce more critical components in the United States, according to the official.

Apple currently supports more than 450,000 jobs in the United States with thousands of suppliers and partners across the country, the official added.

Apple said in February that it would invest at least $500 billion in American manufacturing over the next four years. The investments will include a factory in Texas for Artificial Intelligence (AI) servers, and the tech company is expecting to hire 20,000 American workers.
