Sydney Sweeney’s character took on the role of an OnlyFans model in “Euphoria,” and “Boy Meets World” actress turned OnlyFans model Maitland Ward hit back.
Ward slammed Sweeney by telling TMZ’s Harvey Levin and Charles Latibeaudiere that her portrayal was inaccurate and gives OnlyFans models a bad name in a Thursday interview. Sweeney made the headlines after appearing dressed as a baby with a pacifier in her mouth, and her legs spread wide. Ward claimed the depiction strays from OnlyFans reality.
Sweeneys’ “Euphoria” character dived deeply into sex play in the latest episode of the series. She gave fans a look inside the explicit world of adult content, and has left fans divided by her portrayal. Ward shot back at her performance, claiming that content creators on the OnlyFans platform face a variety of restrictions not present in the show.
“There’s all sorts of stuff that you can’t do,” Ward told TMZ.
Sydney Sweeney seemingly reacts to criticisms over her role as an Onlyfans creator in Euphoria Season 3:
“There are hour-long compilations of world-famous male actors with nude scenes who win Oscars and get praised for that work. But the moment a woman does it, it degrades… pic.twitter.com/GDr20OoOfm

“The whole child baby thing is so disgusting, and in the climate that we’re in, to do that and to use Sydney Sweeney of all people who has had so much controversy on her own to come forth and claim — to do these just crazy stunts that is making fun of OnlyFans creators.”
Ward argued that Sweeney is not “celebrating them.”
“It’s saying, ‘look how weird and creepy they are, you can just go on and do whatever you want and you’ll just make money right away, which is just not the case because there’s so many creators that are really working hard to build their brands everyday.”
Despite the big payouts being earned by sharing explicit content on the platform which boasts extra material for subscribers, Ward argued Sweeney took things too far.
“You just can’t go into that whole underage thing like that,” she claimed.
She walked her comments back slightly and continued, “I mean, you can do it to an extent if it’s very, very playful, like, you’re an adult being childlike or something. But just the way it was handled was so gross and it’s just disgusting and vile.”
When TMZ pressed on whether such an activity was “sort of inviting pedophiles,” she agreed.
“Yes. Exactly. That’s the whole reason you wouldn’t be allowed to do that. You don’t want pedophilia anywhere near pornography,” she told TMZ. (RELATED: Fans Accuse ‘Euphoria’ Writers Of Sabotaging Sydney Sweeney With Sexualized Content)
Maitland previously said she earned $20,000 to $25,000 per episode of “Boy Meets World” and makes six figures monthly sharing adult content on OnlyFans in an April interview, according to Us Weekly.
OnlyFans’ content moderation policy says the site removes content that “features a creator pretending to be under 18, even if this is role play or fiction.” In February 2025, a blogger listed what he claimed were his top 10 favorite OnlyFans subs for “age play.”
