Production of the British crime series “Mobland” will reportedly no longer include famous actor Tom Hardy.
Season two wrapped production in March, but a third season of the hit show has not been officially confirmed by Paramount+. Sources close to the situation revealed that Hardy will not be asked to return if the show is green-lit, following alleged tension between the actor, 101 Studios and executive producer Jez Butterworth, among other individuals, according to Variety.
Puck News first reported the story.

Hardy plays the role of dangerous “fixer” Harry Da Souza, who handles messy and often bloody situations for the powerful Harrigan crime family headed by Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan. Variety reported that “Mobland,” created by Ronan Bennet, quickly became the second most-watched series on Paramount+.
Sources close to the situation told the Daily Caller that although it’s not clear what led to tension between Hardy and the execs of the show, Hardy’s on-set behavior became problematic and the decision was made to part ways.
Hardy’s communication style and behavior have clashed with colleagues in the past. He had a very public falling out with co-star Charlize Theron while filming “Mad Max: Fury Road.”

Actor Cillian Murphy reported having a very different experience with Hardy in “Peaky Blinders” and publicly praised the star, calling him “one of the best actors in the business,” in an interview with GQ. (RELATED: Hooters Unveils Shock Family-Friendly Rebrand After Change In Management)
Hardy has yet to issue a public statement on the matter as of publication.
