In a post on his Truth Social platform, the president griped about the lack of appreciation he’s getting for not going through with his $10 billion lawsuit against his own government, and instead allowing the DOJ to create what it calls “a systematic process to hear and redress claims of others who suffered weaponization and lawfare.”
Trump noted that he “gave up a lot of money in allowing the just announced Anti-Weaponization Fund to go forward, and insisted he “could have settled my case, including the illegal release of my Tax Returns and the equally illegal BREAK IN of Mar-a-Lago, for an absolute fortune.”
He then noted that “instead, I am helping others, who were so badly abused by an evil, corrupt, and weaponized Biden Administration, receive, at long last, JUSTICE!”
“Patently unlawful,” is how one former DOJ official described the bill to JS. “What the memo is contemplating is patently unlawful.”
