Shots were reportedly fired Tuesday at the Los Angeles home of former NHL player Sean Avery.
Sources close to the situation told TMZ that Avery and his wife Hilary Rhoda had a contractor working at their Hollywood Hills home when shots were heard. One of the bullets allegedly hit a tire on the contractor’s vehicle, but law enforcement sources said no injuries were reported.
One person, believed to be Avery’s neighbor, has been taken into police custody, multiple sources told TMZ.

Law enforcement sources told the outlet that they reacted to a call alleging criminal threats Tuesday at approximately 10 a.m.
The caller said the suspect was a neighbor and claimed that individual was targeting their contractors with harassment and threats, sources said. This was allegedly a recurring problem. Officers reportedly arrived on-scene but there were no signs of threats made so no report was taken at that time, according to TMZ.
