I just don’t get it.
Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese, who is also the main rival of Indiana Fever phenom Caitlin Clark, has only been in the WNBA for three seasons and has already been with two different teams. And quite frankly, it’s hard not to blame her shooting with what you’re about to see. Let’s start with Thursday morning, where prior to the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup game between the Dream and Fever, Reese was taking practice shots from behind the three-point line. And though that’s all fine and dandy, she had the most awkward way of taking her shots, doing some weird wind-up thing with her leg and then launching the ugliest looking stroke when actually shooting.

See what I mean?
But it gets worse than this. Later on when Thursday night arrived, the game between Atlanta and Indiana was happening. When we got to the 8:46 mark in the second quarter, Reese put her practice to the test, and, well, she ended up getting a big ol’ fat F-.
As you’ll see in the clip, which you can watch here, Reese put up a terrible-looking three. And it was so bad, that it didn’t even hit the basket.
But things get even worse, ladies and gentlemen.
When the next morning arrived Friday, the people of social media weren’t just making fun of Angel’s poor shot, but they’ve been clowning her for … get this … only hitting 9.1% of her three-point shots this season. I had to look it up myself because it was so bad. But there it was, right on ESPN.
Angel Reese’s 3-point field goal percentage might be the most hilarious sports statistic that I’ve ever seen in my life.
Yes, that says 9.1%… as in less than 10. 😂 pic.twitter.com/t04V0K65fI

How? Just how is this woman in the WNBA?
