Julius Baer has appointed Pamela Tseng as its chief operating officer (COO) for Asia, with the appointment taking effect on 16 November 2026.
Andreas Zingg, who currently holds the post, will leave the group on retirement after 23 years at Julius Baer.
The Swiss private bank said Zingg had a central part in developing its operating set-up in Asia, overseeing major “transformation” programmes.
Tseng, who will be based in Singapore, is set to work with Zingg during the handover period.
In the role, she will oversee efforts to improve both client and employee experience across Asia.
She will report to Jean Nabaa, chief operating officer and member of the executive board, as well as Jimmy Lee, Asia region head and member of the global wealth management committee.

Before joining Julius Baer, Tseng was at Standard Chartered Bank, where she most recently served as global chief operating officer for private banking.
Earlier there, she was COO for wealth solutions and affluent banking.
She previously held senior posts at Citi in New York and Hong Kong and earlier worked at Accenture in Singapore and Beijing.

In July, Julius Baer Group named Peter Burrill as chief financial officer (CFO) and executive board member, replacing Evie Kostakis.
