Donald Trump issued a dire warning to his MAGA supporters at a rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on Monday about what he believes could happen if Democrats flip both the House and the Senate in the 2026 midterm elections, and later win back the White House.
And his critics were totally there for it.
Trump claimed Democratic victories would result in him becoming “the last Republican president.”
“You know, if they get in and you have a bad presidential election in the next, because we have some very good people. But if you had a bad presidential where one of these lunatics got in, you will, look at me right now. And you will say, ‘He’s going to be the last Republican president in the history of our country.’ I will be. I will be. I will be the last Republican president because they will add about 12 more electoral votes. They’ll add four more senators. They’ll add 10 more congresspeople, approximately. They’re gonna rig the Supreme Court through just a lot of people. They want to put a lot of people.”
Trump may have intended his words as an ominous warning, but many of his critics essentially told him to stop threatening them with a good time.
