Firefighting tanker plane in deadly Australia crash likely stalled – final report

SYDNEY, Aug 29 (Reuters) – A C-130 tanker aircraft that crashed and killed all three People on board whereas combating fires in Australia in 2020 seemingly stalled when flying in hazardous circumstances after making a hearth retardant drop, investigators stated in a last report on Monday.

There is no such thing as a proof that the crew was advised a smaller lead plane known as a “birddog” initially assigned to assist the C-130 had declined the mission attributable to weather-related security considerations, highlighting a lack of expertise sharing that will have contributed to the crash, the Australian Transport Security Bureau (ATSB) stated.

The Lockheed Martin Corp (LMT.N) C-130 operated by non-public Canadian agency Coulson Aviation underneath contract to the New South Wales Rural Fireplace Service (RFS) was the most important civilian aircraft by measurement to crash in Australia.

The cockpit voice recorder was recovered however investigators stated the audio was from a flight that was operated in the US in 2019.
