The Lake Havasu City Police Department (LHCPD) said it’s investigating allegations “Storage Wars” star Darrell Sheets was cyberbullied before his death.
The 67-year-old died on April 22 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, with the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office ruling the death a suicide, according to TMZ. Less than a month after his passing, police said they are probing allegations that he faced targeting online before his death. An LHCPD spokesman confirmed to People that the agency continues to “actively investigate allegations of cyberbullying associated” with the matter.
The Criminal Investigations Unit turned over the late star’s cellphone for forensic analysis, according to the spokesperson.
