Rep. Tim Scott (R-SC) went on “The View” on Monday morning to fire back after the co-hosts of the ABC talk show launched an attack on him that can only be described as racist.

Racist Attack On Scott

Daily Mail reported that on a recent episode of “The View,” co-host Joy Behar claimed that Scott would not be a Republican if he truly understood race relations in this country.

“He’s one of these guys, like Clarence Thomas, black Republican, who believes in pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, rather than understanding the systemic racism that African Americans face in this country and other minorities,” she said of Scott. “He doesn’t get it. Neither does Clarence. That’s why they’re Republicans.”

Behar’s co-host Whoopi Goldberg agreed with her, claiming that Scott has “Clarence Thomas syndrome” after he announced that he was running for president as a Republican. Behar was noticeably absent on the panel when Scott responded on “The View” today.

“When the radical left, progressive are on defense, they say the most radical, dangerous and toxic things.”

Scott Fires Back

“One of the reasons why I’m on the show is because of the comments that were made, frankly, on the show – that the only way for a young African American kid to be successful in this country is to be the exception and not the rule,” Scott told Behar’s co-hosts. “That is a dangerous, offensive, disgusting message to send to our young people today – that the only way to succeed is by being the exception.”

When the woke co-host Sunny Hostin tried to argue that “it is,” Scott was quick to shoot her down.

“The fact of the matter is we’ve had an African American president, African American vice president, we’ve had two African Americans to be secretaries of the state,” Scott said, according to Fox News. “In my home city, the police chief is an African American who’s now running for mayor.”

“The head of the highway patrol for South Carolina is an African American,” he added. “In 1975, there was about 15% unemployment in the African American community for the first time in the country, it’s under 5%.”

Though Hostin continued to try to argue with Scott, he proceeded to double down.

“Progress in America is measured in generations,” he explained. “My grandfather born in 1921 in Salley, South Carolina, when he was on a sidewalk, a White person was coming, he had to step off and not make eye contact.”

“That man believed then, with some doubt now, in the goodness of America, because he believed that faith in God, faith in himself, and faith in what the future could hold for his kids, would unleash opportunities in ways that you cannot imagine,” Scott continued. “So what I’m suggesting is that the yesterday’s exception is today’s rule.”

Goldberg Chastises Audience

At another point in the interview, Goldberg had to chastise her audience when they booed Scott after he attempted to defend Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) for “protecting our kids from the indoctrination that’s happening in our culture today’ and saying his so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ law was a ‘step in the right direction.”

“No, no, no, not here. I’m sorry, sir, do not boo,” Goldberg said as the liberal audience booed. “This is The View. We accept – we don’t have to believe everything people say but you cannot boo people here, please. You cannot do it.”

Check out this full segment in the video below.

There’s nobody that liberals hate more than a black conservative, so it comes as no surprise that Scott is a favorite target of the leftwing hens on “The View.” In the end, Scott completely schooled them on their own show today, and he showed the world that he is not someone to be messed with!
