Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson launched a new book imprint Monday with publishing firm Skyhorse Publishing.

The new imprint intends to push against the boundaries of what legacy media will tolerate, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported Sunday, citing the publishing firm. The label, named Tucker Carlson Books, was live on Tucker Carlson Network as of Monday afternoon. It advertised a book by comedian and actor Russell Brand near the top of the page.

Carlson announced the label’s launch on X while highlighting Brand’s new book, “How to Become Christian in 7 Days.” “It is the message this country needs most right now,” he wrote. (RELATED: Tucker Carlson Newsletter Responds To Trump’s Attacks)

“This is the first release from our new publishing company — we created Tucker Carlson Books to bypass the censors and bring you things that are actually worth reading and sharing. And we’re starting this venture with what matters most, and that’s Russell Brand’s message of the promise of forgiveness and joy through Jesus,” Carlson said.

“I think most people don’t read books anymore because they’re too absorbed in all the other available media,” Carlson said, according to the WSJ. “But some people do, and those who do find it really rewarding, and those who do, I think tend to be disproportionately influential in policy conversation and conversations about ideas.”

Other featured books include “Ex-Gay” by influencer Milo Yiannopoulos and “Killing Cancer” by Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, the billionaire owner of the Los Angeles Times. The imprint will be directed at “giving a platform to things that would, in many cases, be shut down, be censored, and be covered over by propaganda,” Skyhorse Publisher Tony Lyons told the WSJ. Brand, Yiannopoulos, and Soon-Shiong have appeared on Carlson’s show.

“Tony will publish any book as long as it has inherent value,” Carlson said. “If it’s saying something interesting, if it’s well argued, if it’s got relevant facts, if it’s nicely written. He’s just looking for books that nobody else will publish.”
