Harrowing 911 dispatch audio has been released revealing a concerned caller seemingly requesting help for Kyle Busch before his tragic death at the age of 41.
The call was placed Wednesday at approximately 5:30 p.m. and sheds light on the circumstances surrounding the legendary NASCAR driver’s death, according to TMZ. The call was place in Charlotte, North Carolina, the outlet reported. The recording captures an unidentified male caller seeking urgent medical assistance.
“I’ve got an individual that’s shortness of breath, very hot, thinks he’s going to pass out, and he’s producing a little bit of blood, coughing up some blood,” the caller said.
The dispatcher requested more information and asked if the person in crisis was awake. “He is awake, he’s awake, he’s on the bathroom floor right now,” the male caller replied.
The individual reportedly calling to assist Busch attempted to obtain assistance for him without delay, and without drawing too much attention to the medical crisis at hand. He made a request for first responders to approach the scene in a low key manner, according to the audio.

“Can you turn the sirens off when you get here?” he asked the dispatcher.
The dispatcher agreed, and the male continued by giving specific directions, requesting that first responders navigate to the side door of the building, according to the audio. The identity of the male individual in crisis was not officially confirmed in the audio. The identity of the caller requesting assistance was not disclosed.
The General Motors Charlotte Technical Center is an advanced facility that offers a wide number of services including engineering and simulation equipment, according to the Chevrolet website.
NASCAR announced Busch’s death Thursday on social media.
