In June 2021, New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and ex-The Athletic reporter Dianna Russini allegedly went on a private boating trip, and some of the scenes were caught on video. The footage was revealed Thursday by TMZ.
The two, with Russini being pregnant with her first child at that time, were spotted on a dock and walking along prior to going into the vessel. Vrabel and Russini rented the boat together in Putnam, Texas, with the trip allegedly lasting 2-3 hours. The video was published by TMZ after originally reporting that the head coach and NFL insider, both in marriages with other individuals, allegedly signed paperwork for the rented boat.
Giving birth a couple of months later, Russini was employed by ESPN at the time and was covering the Tennessee Titans, the franchise Vrabel was the head coach of.

According to TMZ, the boat company’s staffers were allegedly requested not to share pictures from the day because “Coach Vrabel wanted to enjoy a private weekend.”
While Vrabel took a pic, Russini didn’t take any photographs with employees at all.
The situation between Vrabel and Russini was broke by Page Six, publishing pictures Apr. 7 that showed the pair allegedly holding hands with one another at a Arizona resort, with it reportedly taking place in March.
