White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles shot down a report that she plans to walk away from her post, insisting she has no intention of leaving.

Wiles dismissed the account as imaginary in a statement posted to X, writing that she had “the pleasure of reading a piece of Friday fiction, courtesy of the Daily Mail.” She told readers she remains devoted to President Donald Trump and his team. “To be crystal clear, I am not going anywhere. I am honored and proud to serve President Trump, proud of our team and remain fully committed to advancing his agenda on behalf of the American people,” Wiles wrote. She closed the post with “See you Monday.”

Her rebuttal answered a story that relied entirely on unnamed figures. Five insiders claimed Wiles intended to step down once the November midterm elections passed, the Daily Mail reported. (RELATED: FHFA Director Bill Pulte Named Acting Director Of National Intelligence)

Those same sources tied her supposed departure to discontent over recent staffing decisions, according to the Daily Mail. The outlet pointed to Trump elevating Bill Pulte to acting director of national intelligence and tapping Todd Blanche as attorney general.

Trump’s team moved fast to knock the story down. The official Rapid Response 47 account branded it “Total bullshit. Another fake hatchet job from a wannabe reporter peddling anonymous sources who don’t actually know anything,” according to Townhall. Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair piled on, calling the report “both absurd and totally false.”

The denials arrived during a stretch of heavy turnover inside the administration. Kristi Noem lost her post as homeland security secretary in March, Pam Bondi exited as attorney general, Lori Chavez-DeRemer resigned as labor secretary, and Tulsi Gabbard announced she would leave her intelligence role last month, according to the Washington Examiner.
