Holy! Buy me a new house, Pat!
It surfaced recently that Pat McAfee and ESPN are in talks for a contract extension that would go into 2028. When Tuesday rolled around, we got a price to put with it.
It was reported by The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand that McAfee’s deal will pay him over $60 million per year. (RELATED: ‘You Need A High IQ’: Trump Hammers Stephen A. Smith And His Presidential Dreams After NBA Finals Criticism)
Marchand also reported that McAfee could receive a larger role in the NFL coverage for ESPN.
McAfee’s current ESPN contract is around $30 million per year, according to the report from Marchand. For his weekday program, McAfee reportedly gets paid a total of $17 million, while the other $13 million comes from “College GameDay” and other work done at ESPN.
It’s not known if the larger amount for McAfee will begin following his current contract, or if it will become effective immediately.

I can respect the hustle from McAfee. All this dude has to do is talk his ish in the studio and get paid 60 M’s for it. And what makes this situation even crazier is the fact that the agents for McAfee reportedly wanted $100 million per year originally.
Yeah, my man is on a baller wave right now, and why not if you can get it?
