Critics are calling out UFC fighter Josh Hokit for vile comments he made about former first lady Michelle Obama after winning his bout at the White House event held on President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday.
“And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?” he told Joe Rogan during his post-match interview, conducted in the Octagon that had been set up on the White House lawn.
Trump was in attendance at the event.
When the fight was over, Hokit gifted Trump with a medallion of some kind, placing it around the president’s neck:
Hokit has a history of over-the-top antics. He appeared to throw up on himself a little during his weigh-in on Friday, saying “maybe I was out drinking,” but fans weren’t convinced and thought it was fake.
He also has a long history of ugly and racist comments, and accusing women of being men appears to be one of his go-to insults.
