USMNT was clapped Monday night in a 4-1 thrashing that saw them eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the main highlight from the Americans was whatever the hell our goalie Matt Freese did that allowed the Belgians to get an easy goal.

Following the match, Portnoy completely unloaded onto U.S. men’s soccer for their trash performance.
“US Soccer is not ready for primetime. I dont wanna be mean but this team is embarrassing,” tweeted Portnoy. “We’re never gonna actually be good at this sport as long as out D tier athletes play it. What a clown show.
“I don’t want to hear that the future is bright for American soccer. That they should be proud. That was a disgusting effort. We’re far closer to the bottom than the top. Just not a soccer country.”
