Republicans have been struggling over what to do with Donald Trump during the midterm election. The White House eventually came up with the strategy of only sending the president to red states in the hopes of keeping him out of key races.

Trump came up with the idea to use taxpayer money to create a series of campaign ads touting himself and his presidency. The ads were illegal, and those who helped the president make them could face charges of felony criminal theft.

Donald Trump has been personally approving the ads and at the head of the campaign. After much blowback that includes lawsuits and threats of congressional investigation, Trump announced that his super PAC would be paying for the ads, which is another crime, as the president admitted that he is illegally running his super PAC.

Trump is being quarantined like a virus to red states like Texas, Oklahoma, and Alabama, but those ads that he is running are still infecting elections all across the country.

Republicans who were afraid to say anything negative about Trump are increasingly grumbling about him, and the president is described as being livid about how the midterm election is going.
