In late April, it was Alabama football legend Nick Saban, and then Saturday night, things shifted to Indiana Fever phenomenon Caitlin Clark. In the last few weeks, it appears that concert walkouts from country music superstar Morgan Wallen have been centered around sports.
Wallen was in Indianapolis for his most recent stop of the Still the Problem Tour, and with it being the Hoosier State, he made the decision to get the local basketball scene involved with his famous walkouts. It’s become a tradition for Wallen to walk out to his concerts joined by a celebrity or high-profile name that’s a part of the local community. Wallen published the walkout footage to his Instagram, doing so with the caption “22” in a gesture to the number Clark wears. The two are shown in the video going into the concert from the locker room tunnel of Lucas Oil Stadium, getting the crowd hyped up to go along with Wallen shooting backstage at a mini-hoop.
Off 7-of-18 shooting, Clark put up 20 points, while also racking up 7 assists in the season-opener for the Fever against the Dallas Wings that took place earlier Saturday. The Wings won the game, 107-104. It was the first game back for Clark after suffering an injury that resulted in the 24-year-old only playing 13 games in 2025.
They’re the freshest names to appear at a Wallen concert, however, there are high-profile names from the sports realm other than Clark and Saban to be a part of Wallen’s walkouts. Some other names are Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.
