‘Can’t be canceled’: BlazeTV’s Chad Prather signs with Baste Records, a new free speech music label that boasts conservative values

Chad Prather, host of “The Chad Prather Show” on BlazeTV, has signed with Nashville-based Baste Records, a conservative record label.

The comedian and musician, who has hosted on BlazeTV since 2019, signed with the label founded by Matthew Azrieli, which has described itself as “a platform for conservative musicians and artists to reach a wider audience and share their beliefs and values through their music.”

“With Chad Prather joining the label, Baste Records showcases its commitment to promoting music that resonates with conservative values. Prather, a household name, refuses to self-censor and compromise his patriotic convictions,” Baste Records wrote in a press release, according to TimCast.

“These guys from Baste, they came to me months ago and they said, ‘Here’s what we’re trying to do,’” Prather said in a video posted to Twitter. “I said it’s a hell of a vision. I think it’s great,” Prather continued.

They just said, ‘Listen, we want to create something that can’t be canceled. I’ve been canceled, they’ve tried to de-platform me, de-monetize me, everything they can do in every media platform that they have,” he went on about the partnership.

“I have consistently chased after people and platforms that say, ‘Listen, we’re not gonna censor you, we’re not gonna pull you back, we’re not gonna call you on the carpet. We want you to say exactly what’s in your mind, what’s on your heart, what you’re feeling.’”

“I believe if you know who you are and you know where you’re going, if you have a sense of identity, you’ve got a sense of destiny, you truly will leave something behind. That’s legacy, and I think that Baste Records is going to do something for posterity’s sake that maybe, a couple of generations from now, they’re going to look back and say, ‘I’m sure glad these guys did this,'” Prather concluded.

“So excited to see what all we can create. Let’s go!” Prather said in response to the video.

The label also boasts musician Brad Skistimas, also known as Five Times August, who has seen several social media bans for his music that was critical of Dr. Anthony Fauci and the medical establishment.

Skistimas signed with the label in June 2023.
