Chris Pratt says he was ‘broken’ before he was saved by God and met his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, in church

Actor Chris Pratt opened up about feeling “broken” and “struggling” before he met his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger at church.

Pratt made the comments in an interview with Drew Barrymore on her show while promoting his new movie.

He recounted how he felt while sneaking glances at her in church.

“You kind of don’t want to be like, ‘Whoa, who is that?’ at church, you know what I mean,” he said. “But I was kind of sneaking some glances and I was like, ‘Who is that? Any way, what am I doing? Come on, I’m broken, help me.'”

Pratt married Schwarzenegger in 2019 and has two children with her.

“God has a fast-forward button,” he continued. “When it’s right, boom. You fall in love, you get married. Now we have two beautiful daughters to add to my family.”

He also spoke about being saved.

“My own journey, finding a higher power and leaning on that and being like, ‘please save me,’ and then feeling saved. And then shortly later finding the woman of my dreams,” Pratt added.

The actor was divorced once before he married Schwarzenegger and has a son from that marriage, which ended in 2018.

Many trolls on the left have targeted Pratt with bilious hatred over his profession of Christian faith and their perceived belief that he is a hateful bigot. In a previous interview, he criticized “wackos” on the right and the left who make Americans appear to be more partisan than they actually are.

Pratt is promoting the movie “Super Mario Bros.” in which he voices the video game character Mario. He also stars in the third installment of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise.
