Director Adam Marcus reportedly slammed Val Kilmer Sunday in a since-deleted Threads post just over one year after the famous actor passed away.
Marcus, who directed the late actor in the 2008 film “Conspiracy,” didn’t hold back when reflecting on his experience with the star, according to Entertainment Weekly. The filmmaker reportedly offered a blunt assessment of Kilmer, delivered a series of sharp criticisms of the actor and concluded with a direct hit.
“Worst human being I’ve ever known… and that is really saying something,” Marcus wrote, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Marcus reportedly began by saying, “#MicroIntellectMonday to that time when I directed that guy. The guy who played Iceman and Doc Holiday [sic]. You know the one. Here’s me and the Putz working it out on the set of Conspiracy.”
The caption appeared alongside an image of himself with Kilmer, according to Entertainment Weekly.
He allegedly continued by taking a swipe at anyone who might rush to defend the late actor, who passed April 1, 2025 after a battle with pneumonia.

“And to any of you rolling your eyes because of the whole ‘don’t speak ill of the dead bullshit’, fuck that,” Marcus wrote, according to Entertainment Weekly.
He reportedly went on to write that if Kilmer “did one-tenth of what he did on my set today, he would have been cancelled in a blink.” (RELATED: Legendary Actor Val Kilmer To Star In Movie After His Death)
It’s unclear when Marcus deleted his social media comments or why he no longer wished to share his thoughts, but they are not visible online as of publication.
