This weekend, NASCAR will be holding a historical first-ever race that will be taking place on a military installation, and not just that, but each series from the auto racing sanctioning and operating company will be active at the Naval Base Coronado in San Diego. Well, to mark the moment — meant to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Navy — an incredibly gorgeous car has been revealed by the Haas Factory Team in confluence with Texas A&M University that shows tribute to George H.W. Bush, the 41st president of the United States and an ex-Naval aviator.
The paint scheme will be featured on the No. 41 Chevrolet Camaro of Cole Custer in the Anduril 250: Race the Base that’s set for Sunday.
A legacy carried onto the track.

When it comes to NASCAR, I admit, I’m one of those people who only shows up for the high-profile events, and the race this weekend in San Diego is definitely an example of one of them. I was already going to watch, and now they want to throw this beauty of a car at me?
