James Carville on Tuesday delivered an R-rated rallying cry for Donald Trump and his MAGA movement to suffer a crushing defeat in the 2026 midterm elections.
He also predicted how Trump’s presidency may end.
Speaking on his “Politics War Room” podcast, the longtime Democratic strategist said he wants voters to make clear “how much the American people hates his fucking guts,” describing the feeling toward Trumpism as a “genuine, visceral hatred.”
“We have to do everything we can to be sure that he is not just defeated, that he is humiliated. That he knows how much this country hates him for what he has done to this country,” Carville said.
Carville called for “a staggering, breathtaking, comprehensive and total defeat of Trumpism” in November. “I think we can do that. But it requires all of us pushing in the same direction.”
The veteran strategist also mocked critics who accuse him of suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” saying he’s “proud of it,” before predicting “better things are coming because I think if he has still got his wits about him, and I hope he does, he’ll get the fuck out of there and leave, because his life is gonna be so goddamn miserable, he won’t know what to do.”
