Joe Rogan blasted California Gov. Gavin Newsom during a recent episode of his massively popular podcast. The prolific podcaster also hinted that he would consider interviewing former President Donald Trump – a potential guest that he previously said he had no interest in having on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
During a conversation with entrepreneur and YouTube star Patrick Bet-David, the two discussed the scenario of President Joe Biden departing office before the end of his term – whether voluntarily or involuntarily.
Rogan said, “I just can’t imagine the United States wants President Kamala Harris. I don’t think anybody wants that. Nobody wants that. Maybe some people would prefer that over President Trump, but nobody wants that.”
Rogan then bashed Newsom over his domineering and hypocritical governance during the pandemic.
“Nobody believes in that guy. That guy’s a f***ing conman,” Rogan said. “Everything he did in California, from trying to mandate vaccines for kids, when it was totally unnecessary, to being caught out in public without a mask and lying about the fact that he was outdoors.”
“He’s just a politician. Just a stone-cold narrative-driven politician. Nobody thinks he’s a real human,” Rogan added. “Whether you like Trump or not or whether you think he’s corrupt or not – that’s a human being, you know what that guy is.”
He continued, “Same thing with RFK Jr., whether you believe that he’s correct about vaccines or whether you believe his policies would be effective – you know that’s a human being.”
Rogan continued, “With Newsom, you’ve got this construct. This cardboard cutout of a person. I don’t think people want that. But they might want it more than President Trump – and that’s where we got Joe Biden.”
(WARNING: Explicit language)
Rogan moved from California to Texas in 2020 because the state had deteriorated because of overpopulation, economic despair, and homelessness.
Rogan then eviscerated President Biden over accusations of corruption involving his son.
“We didn’t get Joe Biden because Joe Biden’s amazing. Joe Biden’s been a goof his whole f***ing career. He’s always been a goof. He’s been caught lying so many times. He’s so full of s**t,” Rogan proclaimed. “There’s so much evidence that he’s corrupt. Just undeniable evidence of corruption.”
Rogan slammed the mainstream media for ignoring the accusations of overseas corruption with Hunter Biden and possibly his father.
“The fact the mainstream news is ignoring this except for right-wing media is f***ing crazy,” Rogan declared.
Bet-David said Newsom is “ten times more marketable than Biden.”
He added that the Democrats have “such a behemoth of a machine” to market Newsom as a “noble” presidential candidate.
During the course of the interview, Bet-David petitioned Rogan to consider inviting Trump on the widely popular podcast.
Bet-David asked Rogan, “So when are you having Trump on?”
Rogan replied, “I don’t know.”
Bet-David responded, “The look… looks like you got something.”
“I don’t know – maybe,” Rogan added. “At a certain point in time, it’s just like. It would be interesting to hear his perspective on a lot of things.”
Rogan said it would be “interesting” to hear a former president’s “perspective” on U.S. intelligence agencies, the deep state, and how the government “machine” works.
Bet-David suggested Trump is “a complicated, misunderstood” person.
Bet-David said Joe Rogan interviewing Donald Trump would “break the internet.”
Previously, Rogan said he would not have Trump on his show during an interview with podcaster Lex Fridman.
“By the way, I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once — I’ve said no, every time,” Rogan said in July 2022. “I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.”
Two weeks ago, the Daily Beast reported that Trump urged his advisers to get him an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
“The mere discussion of Donald Trump on a blockbuster podcast like Joe Rogan builds a remarkable audience,” a Trump adviser told the Daily Beast. “Perhaps the only person bigger in the new media world than Joe Rogan is Donald Trump and the whole idea that the two of them would be together at long last — it would be an incredible audience.”
