Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh and former Ferrari CEO Jean Todt are officially married after a lengthy 19-year engagement.
The couple has been engaged since June 2004 — a full 6992-day engagement period, according to People. They announced their very big news on social media by posting a series of images of their special day. They included a photograph of their wedding program.
“Today after 6992 days on 27th July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together!” the program said.
The image of the wedding program included several notes that provided additional information to fans.
“We met in Shanghai on 4th June 2004,” the program revealed.
“On 26th July 2004, J.T proposed to marry M.Y and she said YES,” the program said. It revealed Todt and Yeoh were engaged to one another less than two months after they began dating.
The images showed Yeoh smiling for the camera while dressed in a cream silk shirt, and wedding guests could be seen wandering about behind her in the image. The Genevan building provided a classic backdrop for the couples’ nuptials. Other images of Yeoh showed her in a nude-colored lace dress with a silk shiny bodice.
