No words, but a very loud message.
The Philadelphia Phillies squared off in a Mother’s Day contest against the Colorado Rockies, with the Phillies getting a drama-free 6-0 victory. Well, at least with the game itself. Third baseman Alec Bohm, on the other hand, caused a little smoke.
Every Mother’s Day, pretty much every player in Major League Baseball wears pink, but Bohm decided to pass on the holiday, not wearing any pink whatsoever. (RELATED: Minnesota Lynx Has Their Star Wars ‘Liberty Dies’ Moment While Paying Tribute To ICE Shooting Victims)
Bohm is currently in a legal battle against his parents, reportedly filing a lawsuit against them for millions of dollars. It’s alleged by Bohm that they drained large sums of money towards accounts being managed for the 29-year-old and used some of the cash for their own expenses. Nick Vadala of The Philadelphia Inquirer was the first to report the news.
“On brand” as Twitter user @CogginToboggan puts it, Bohm didn’t sport any pink at all as a result.

I’m not going to take any sides here. At the end of the day, it’s family business and everything is allegations, but I do want to say this: It’s absolutely sad nowadays how we have so many parents and adult children having disgruntled relationships.
Like, seriously, what kind of society are we living in nowadays? Are we not understanding that we’re fulfilling a Biblical prophecy?
We really need to do better, people, because nowadays, we’re incredibly pathetic.
