President Donald Trump spiraled into a late-night attack on some of his former allies on Friday, calling them “LOSERS” and berating them with personal digs.
“Tucker Carlson just met with Lightweight ‘Former’ Congressman, Thomas Massie, and Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Greene, LOSERS ALL! Tucker’s ‘Views’ have fallen through the floor, and will only get worse,” Trump posted on Truth Social at 10:37 p.m. Friday. “Nobody cares about him any longer in that he has become totally irrelevant, and happens to be, surprisingly, a very Low I.Q. individual.”
Carlson broke from the Republican Party this year following vocal criticism over the administration’s war in Iran. Since then, he has organized with other right-wing Trump critics, including former Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), to tease a third-party alternative as the rift within MAGA grows.
The president’s Friday night ramble adds to a number of earlier attacks he’s made against his prominent ex-supporters. He told followers that Carlson “could barely get out of College, and maybe he didn’t, but only really dumb people can’t make it through that wonderful four year time in life!.”
“Tucker wants to run for political office, but he should be required to take a cognitive test. He’s got no chance, but could probably take a couple of points away from whatever the Republican ticket happens to be! Tucker is a loser, and always has been!” Trump continued.
The president then moved on to Greene, who broke with Trump over his administration’s handling of the Epstein files and the war in Iran. He called Greene, 52, a “highly neurotic young woman who went from Ultra Conservative to a Liberal ‘Fool,’ all in a matter of weeks.”
The former congresswoman responded to Trump in a lengthy post of her own on Saturday, taking a dig at his sinking poll numbers and expressing regret over ever having supported him.
“President Trump’s demeanor, name calling, absurd and reckless rhetoric is unbecoming of the office of the president, is a bad example of leadership, and is hurting America’s reputation and place in the world,” she wrote. “At this point, he’s no different than an internet troll or one of the many millions of bots that say awful horrible things.”
Trump also insulted Massie, calling him a “failed politician, and a real JERK.” The Kentucky lawmaker recently lost his GOP primary to a Trump-backed opponent following fallout over his outspoken advocacy to release the Epstein files.
“He thought it was really wonderful to vote, ‘NO,’ on everything, no matter how good, strong, or proper the Legislation would be. What a team this would be, THREE LOSERS, and a pocketful of change! The only chance they have is to join the Radical Left Dumocrats, and try breaking into the Primary System. To all of them I say, PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!” Trump concluded his rant.
Massie noted on X that Trump’s post comes immediately after announcing what the congressman called a “disastrous beef policy” that triggered Republican backlash, and as the U.S. debt hit $40 trillion, in part due to the president-backed “One Big, Beautiful Bill.”
“He posted this because we are the three he should have listened to,” Massie concluded.
