A Texas mother was arrested after she allegedly stabbed three of her children to death and injured two others when a Child Protective Services employee showed up unannounced at her house, RadarOnline.com has learned.
On Mar. 3, the worker from CPS visited the home of 25-year-old Shamaiya Hall in Italy, Texas, after suspecting the mother of five was having unsupervised visitations with her children, Front Page Detectives has previously reported.
The children, all siblings, were previously placed under the guardianship of another relative by CPS, officials said.
During the home visit, the worker decided to remove the children from the suspect’s care, and around 4:00 p.m., the worker called 911 for help.
A 4-year-old boy and 13-month-old girl were taken to local hospitals with stab wounds, but officials have not given any updates on their current conditions.
“We are shocked by this incomprehensible tragedy, and are already working with law enforcement to investigate how this happened, and why,” CPS officials said in a statement, WFAA reported.
In 2021, Hall’s twin sister, Troyshaye Hall, allegedly confessed to stabbing a teen boy and murdering her 7-year-old daughter by stabbing her more than 30 times, KDFW reported.
Troyshaye was found incompetent to face capital murder charges and is in custody at North Texas State Hospital, which reportedly provides inpatient psychiatric services to adults, children and adolescents.
