William Shatner, Blake Shelton Lead Star-Studded Tributes To Kyle Busch

Tributes are pouring in for NASCAR legend Kyle Busch following his tragic death at the age of 41.

Busch’s death sent shockwaves throughout the racing world and left fans and friends struggling to process the sudden loss of a beloved driver who spent two decades at the helm of some of NASCAR’s biggest moments. Fellow race drivers, competitors, and celebrities outside of the NASCAR community took to social media to pay their respects.

The Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Busch rivalry was a well-documented one. The two racers feuded publicly, but despite egging one another on, they managed to put their differences aside prior to Busch’s passing. Earnhardt Jr. credited Busch for extending the olive branch in a heartfelt message shared on X.

Kyle and I had a really challenging existence for many years. But we luckily took the time to figure out our differences and that was something he instigated with a conversation in his bus around how we each managed our racing teams. I was super eager for us to get on better…

“Kyle was one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. No one can deny that,” he said about his fierce competitor.

” I will never be able to make sense of this loss but I am thankful that we had found a way to become friends.”

NASCAR driver and commentator Clint Bowyer wrote, “I just talked to him Friday. In complete shock, as we all are. The devastation and sadness is beyond words. Praying for Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, his entire family and loved ones…🙏”

Three-time X NASCAR Cup Series Champion Joey Logano sent prayers to Busch’s family, and remembered him as “a Champion, a feared competitor, a loving husband, a great dad.”

He continued, “he’ll truly be missed, as he made a forever impact on and off the race track.”

William Byron, NASCAR driver for Hendrick Motorsports, credited Busch for the impact he made on his own career by writing, “Kyle was the best mentor you could ever have.”

“He was incredibly unselfish, cared about his people and his family deeply. And helped shaped my career to what it is.”

Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson, Mark Martin and Brad Keselowski also shared their condolences online.
