Recently, New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel temporarily stepped away from his role with the team. Saturday, Vrabel attended counseling, and it was a distance away from Foxborough.
He ended up being seen in an airport, and an unidentified photographer took advantage of the opportunity to confront him regarding the photo scandal involving former The Athletic reporter Dianna Russini. Video was obtained by TMZ of the photographer, who the outlet says isn’t employed by them, approaching Vrabel while he was at an airport in Utah. Several questions were hammered away at Vrabel, with the photographer even asking him about his state of mind. From there, they got into the goods, asking Vrabel his opinion on the potential of him also resigning. In his case, from the Patriots.

Vrabel didn’t issue much of a response to the questioning. Originally, he acknowledged the photographer, but from there, he kept quiet and quickly walked towards his vehicle. Vrabel remained silent the entire walk with no escalation occurring.
For his counseling, Vrabel traveled to Utah, which is where his family owns another house, according to TMZ. The visit didn’t last long, however, as he returned Monday to New England. Due to his counseling, Vrabel missed Day 3 of the NFL Draft.
At the time of writing, there hasn’t been any comment from Vrabel publicly regarding what happened in his counseling.
