“Mission: Impossible” actor Ving Rhames reportedly collapsed inside a Los Angeles restaurant Wednesday while eating with his family.
A fellow diner told TMZ that Rhames collapsed at his table while at the restaurant, and he appeared to be in and out of consciousness. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles City Fire Department confirmed to TMZ that they received a call at 1:40 p.m. requesting medical assistance for a man in crisis who was approximately 60-years-old.
TMZ reported that paramedics rushed Rhames, 66, to the hospital for medical care.

Rhames’ representative told TMZ it is believed that the famous actor was “overheated,” but he is going to recover. The beloved actor played Luther Stickell in all eight of the “Mission: Impossible” films, and he has a long list of credits to his name including, “Pulp Fiction” and “Jacob’s Ladder.”
