Now I can’t wait to play fantasy football … and it’s only May!
When it comes to sports culture in the United States, one of the coolest things that Americans partake in are fantasy football punishments. Just take what happened, for example, at the most recent Kansas City Royals game.
Video posted on social media shows a fan of the Royals fulfilling a fantasy football punishment while Kansas City was squaring off against the Boston Red Sox at Kauffman Stadium. (RELATED: NFL Continues Expansion Outside America With 10 International Games Approved For 2027)
The contest came to a conclusion with a 3-1 Red Sox victory.
Serving the punishment in the nosebleeds, a fan was sitting by himself and surrounded by signs, and they read in big fat letters, “I STINK AT FANTASY FOOTBALL,” and holy moly, what a grade-A punishment.

Don’t finish last in your fantasy leagues, folks 🤣 pic.twitter.com/2i1befslY6

I’ve never finished last place in a fantasy football league before, so I’ve never personally experienced a punishment, but man, I can just imagine how embarrassing that would be as someone with no platform.
As a sports blogger slash reporter, I would just use it for content for both the Daily Caller and on social media, which has me thinking: maybe I should tank in my league this year and force myself into a punishment. Honestly, it would be a great way to go viral, get me some attention and bring the Daily Caller some clicks in the process.
Sounds like a plan to me.
