Morgan Wallen appeared to tear a phone out of a worker’s hand and aggressively toss it across the stage in another apparent moment of mid-performance rage.
A fan-captured video of the shocking moment during Friday’s concert at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh is making its rounds online, just a week after the famous singer flipped a piano upside down during his Denver concert.
Wallen walked toward a person in a yellow t-shirt, identified as a security guard by TMZ, and sang right into the phone they were holding up. He seemed to be all about the moment — until he wasn’t. Moments after leaning in to give the person a close-up shot, he abruptly ripped the phone out of their hands and chucked it.

TMZ reported that fans who witnessed the incident claimed the phone did not belong to the security guard and was not being used for their personal footage. They alleged that the worker was recording video for an audience member — but Wallen didn’t seem interested in the semantics. Something about the interaction didn’t sit well with him, and ultimately resulted in the phone being tossed quite a distance away.
Wallen hasn’t been a stranger to bizarre on-stage antics in recent days. He appeared irritated by a technical malfunction May 29 and opted to abandon his piano for an a cappella performance. While singing, he walked toward the piano and used both hands to overturn the expensive instrument, sending it crashing to the stage floor. The famous country singer also canceled his second scheduled Pittsburgh concert due to weather concerns, sending fans into an angry social media tirade when the weather seemed to ultimately hold up on that date.
