Savannah’s 84-year-old mother vanished from her home in the upscale Catalina Foothills area near Tucson, Ariz., on Feb. 1, 2026. Family members raised the alarm after she failed to appear for a scheduled church livestream and could not be reached.
The FBI has since offered a reward for information leading to Nancy’s recovery or to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Yet nearly five months later, no arrests have been made and no suspects have been publicly identified.
Meanwhile, the man accused in the Today incident – Andrew Truelove, 41 – was apprehended. Carrying a backpack, he reportedly made it to a staircase inside the building but never reached Studio 1A, which is protected by additional badge-controlled security checkpoints.
According to law enforcement, Truelove first asked for longtime weatherman Al Roker before confronting Melvin. Security quickly subdued Truelove, who was taken into police custody.
