“I always make up a story (about where the money is going) that I think you will find palatable,” the mother-of-three replied. “I know you assume that it’s going, but I always fudge where it’s going and how it’s going. You know, you don’t need to know.”
Consuelos responded, “I don’t ask any questions.”
“No, you don’t. But if you were, I have a story ready,” Ripa said, prompting laughter from the audience.
Consuelos simply shrugged and replied, “Alright, you don’t need it,” seemingly unbothered by the confession.
But Ripa was undeterred.
“In case you ever asked a question, I have a full story totally prepared,” she insisted. “So, you won’t even know it’s a story. It’s gonna fly off my tongue seamlessly. Go ahead, ask me something.”
