Biden’s dog Commander removed from White House after numerous biting incidents

The president’s family dog has been removed from the White House after numerous biting incidents involving members of the Secret Service and others.

CNN reported that the White House confirmed the development after the outlet reported that numerous biting incidents had been unreported to the public.

“The President and First Lady care deeply about the safety of those who work at the White House and those who protect them every day. They remain grateful for the patience and support of the U.S. Secret Service and all involved, as they continue to work through solutions,” read a statement from a spokesperson for the first lady.

“Commander is not presently on the White House campus while next steps are evaluated,” she added.

The CNN report said that the biting incidents extended beyond the Secret Service and included executive residence staff and other White House workers. This has reportedly led to a “combustible” relationship between the Bidens and the Secret Service, though a spokesperson for the Secret Service denied the CNN report.

Emails previously obtained by Judicial Watch documented at least 10 incidents in which Commander Biden had bitten people. Six of those incidents required medical attention.

One of the emails was sent by a Secret Service officer who expressed frustration about a biting incident that landed a colleague in the hospital.

“If it wasn’t their dog he would already have been put down — freaking clown needs a muzzle,” the officer wrote.

In July the White House was mocked after Biden’s press secretary offered a risible excuse for the biting incidents.

“As you all know, the White House complex can be unique and very stressful,” responded Karine Jean-Pierre at the time.

“And that is something I’m sure you all can understand,” she added. “It is unique and it is stressful for all of us, so you can imagine what it’s like for a family pet and family pets.”

In 2021 Biden sent his other dog, Major, to live with friends in Delaware after a number of his own biting incidents.
