Brocarde, an Oxfordshire singer and songwriter, claimed her ‘devilishly handsome’ ghost husband Edwardo cheated on her with Marilyn Monroe, resulting in a divorce, according to Sky News.
The 40-year-old songstress said she was sick of Edwardo’s crush on the late Hollywood icon, Sky News reported. His ‘unsettling fascination’ with Monroe began on the couple’s Halloween 2022 wedding day.
“After our initial meeting, Edwardo slowly revealed more about himself to me,” Brocarde said. “I saw his images as a Victorian soldier, he was always in his uniform, even on our wedding day, his face is devilishly handsome, shoulder length unruly hair, he looks lived in, well worn, troubled almost, there’s a pain attached to his being.”

Announcement of their divorce came in Brocarde’s song “Just Another Anthem.” The ex-bride said she tried to “exorcise him from her mind” by returning to their wedding venue, Sky News noted.
Brocarde, dressed in an all-black ensemble, can be seen at her wedding in a video posted to her Instagram account. She stands to the left of the wedding officiant as the space to his right is empty.
Brocarde said her ghost soldier husband would return from prolonged disappearances smelling like Chanel No. 5 perfume, which was Monroe’s favorite perfume, per Sky News. (RELATED: Australian Groomsman Allegedly Kills Childhood Friend With Gym Bar)
Brocarde expressed her frustration at the fact Edwardo got too drunk on their Barry Island honeymoon, per the outlet. She also reportedly characterized the phantom as possessive, saying he constantly switched from being ‘warm and intense’ to threatening.
