Congresswoman Nancy Mace demanded the Department of Justice “get off its ass” and investigate the Biden family after the House Oversight Committee presented evidence they believe shows relatives of the President created shell companies to cover up payments from foreign nationals.
The Committee released a memo Wednesday showing that family members of the President and their business associates had created a “web” of 20 companies while Joe Biden served as vice president.
Republicans insist those limited liability companies were designed to conceal money – over $10 million – received from foreign nationals.
“Bank records show the Biden family, their business associates, and their companies received over $10 million from foreign nationals’ companies,” the memo states.
“In some instances, Biden associates would receive significant deposits from foreign sources into their bank accounts and then transfer smaller, incremental payments to Biden bank accounts,” it continues.
“These complicated and seemingly unnecessary financial transactions appear to be a concerted effort to conceal the source and total amount received from the foreign companies.”
The memo alleges Chinese nationals and companies “with significant ties to Chinese intelligence and the Chinese Communist Party” helped conceal the funds through the shell company transactions, while they presented new evidence that Hunter Biden, the President’s son, received a $1 million payment from a businessman who was the subject of a criminal probe and prosecution for corruption in Romania.

Nancy Mace Demands DOJ Take Action Against the Biden Family
Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) demanded the DOJ take action based on the evidence presented against the Biden family and suggested it should be a slam dunk case because Republicans have done the work for them.
“The DOJ needs to get off its ass and investigate,” she declared. “We’ve done the work for them, so they can’t screw it up now.”
“If these allegations – any of these allegations – are true, someone with the last name Biden needs to be charged, prosecuted, and maybe spend a little time in prison to take into account … and (responsibility) for the actions they’ve taken today.”
She later alleged the shell company system involving the Biden family may amount to “the most corrupt scheme in American politics.”

Representative James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has suggested at least a dozen relatives of President Biden could be exposed in foreign money deals.
During a press conference outlining the latest evidence, Comer (R-KY) pointed out nine Biden family members specifically who received payments through what Mace defined as “financial gymnastics.”
Those people include: Hunter Biden, James Biden, James Biden’s wife Sara Jones Biden, Beau Biden’s wife Hallie Biden, Hunter Biden’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, Hunter Biden’s wife Melissa Cohen, and “three children of the president’s son and the president’s brother.”

Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) said that Republicans have uncovered evidence of corruption and influence-peddling while the DOJ continues to slow-walk investigations into Hunter Biden.
“It’s interesting that the Department of Justice has been investigating Hunter Biden for quite some time. And we seem to just never really get anywhere,” he said. “I wonder what’s going on in the Department of Justice.”
Hunter Biden and his associates, according to the Oversight Committee, formed “at least 15” of these LLC companies after Biden took the office of the vice president in 2009.
Donalds chided the media for helping conceal the Biden family’s corrupt practices.
The Biden Family doesn’t have a business.

Mace, prior to the press conference, warned the DOJ over their unwillingness to remain impartial and investigate the Bidens.
“The left says that no one is above the law,” she challenged. “Well put your money where your mouth is and let’s see where this investigation goes.”
The White House has denounced the committee investigation as “evidence-free” and “politically motivated.”
