Another thing that makes the facial spray so noteworthy is that it’s safe for all skin types. “Because hypochlorous acid is something that is produced within our bodies, the concern would be for any additional ingredients that can be irritating or abrasive to the skin,” Dr. Lee explains. “The Rescue Facial Spray is hypo-allergenic, non-comedogenic, and gluten-free, so it eliminates a lot of skin sensitivity concerns, thus appealing to a wider range of skin types.”

Thanks to its antibacterial properties, Dr. Garshick says it’s also an excellent product for post-workout skin-care routines, as it can help keep skin refreshed and combat acne-causing bacteria.
