Experts say that refrigerating flowers can help prevent mold and mildew growth from excess moisture, keeping them fresh. This is especially helpful if your partner won’t be home for a few hours and you want to preserve the color and shape of your blooms.

5. Chocolates: Pair Them With Wine

It’s a step up from just a box of chocolates, showing your willingness to go the extra mile. Sommelier Renee Sferrazza shared that spicy and sweet chocolates pair well with sweet wines.
