NEW YORK/LONDRA, 5 aprile (Reuters) – Il dollaro guadagna terreno, recuperando dai minimi di due mesi della seduta precedente, mentre gli investitori riducono le posizioni corte per fare profitti in vista dell’importantissimo rapporto sugli occupati non agricoli degli Stati Uniti di venerdì.

** La tendenza di fondo del dollaro rimane comunque orientata al ribasso e i dati sugli occupati del settore privato statunitense di oggi lo hanno confermato. I dati hanno avvalorato la tesi secondo cui la Federal Reserve potrebbe non dover aumentare ulteriormente i tassi.

** Intorno alle 17,30, l’indice del dollaro sale dello 0,24% a 101,76 , guidato dai guadagni rispetto all’euro, che cala dello 0,3% a 1,0918 .

** Il dollaro si avvia verso la terza perdita giornaliera rispetto allo yen giapponese , cedendo lo 0,78% a 130,91. Contro il franco svizzero, il biglietto verde scende dello 0,1% a 0,9045 franchi .

** Il dollaro australiano invece perde lo 0,5% rispetto alla valuta statunitense, a 0,6719 dollari, un giorno dopo che la banca centrale ha deciso di lasciare i tassi invariati al 3,6% dopo 10 rialzi consecutivi, affermando di aver bisogno di più tempo per valutare l’impatto degli aumenti passati.

** Il dollaro neozelandese , nel frattempo, avanza dello 0,15% rispetto al dollaro verde, a 0,6321 dollari, toccando massimi da due mesi di 0,6383 dollari, dopo che la Reserve Bank of New Zealand ha inaspettatamente aumentato i tassi di interesse di 50 punti base, portandoli al 5,25%, un massimo da oltre 14 anni.
