In a complaint that was filed by the Boone County prosecuting attorney, Bush was given a charge of traveling 90 mph.
It’s stated by the probable cause statement that it was claimed by Bush that he didn’t spot police until their vehicle had its emergency lights on. Then, Bush was questioned regarding why he kept speeding after he saw police, with the Mizzou freshman allegedly responding “that’s just how my car is.” It was estimated by Bush that he was traveling 80-90 mph after being asked by police.
Per a Missouri Courts docket entry, Bush was out on bond prior to the case being filed.
In the Tigers‘ 2026 signing class, Bush was one of the top players, rated by 247Sports as a four-star prospect.
