If LIV Golf ceases to exist past the 2026 season due to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) withdrawing their funding, two-time U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau stated Tuesday that he plans to grow the following of his YouTube channel and compete in “tournaments that want me.”
The 32-year-old DeChambeau said that he’s had talks with the PGA Tour, however, none of the conversations have been around how he could possibly make a return to the circuit if LIV ends operations. “I think, from my perspective, I’d love to grow my YouTube channel three times, maybe even more,” said DeChambeau during a practice session Tuesday to get prepared for the upcoming LIV Golf Virginia tournament that is being held at Trump National Golf Club, per ESPN.
“I would love to. I’d love to do a bunch of dubbing in different languages, giving the world more reason to watch YouTube. And then I’d love to play tournaments that want me.”

DeChambeau didn’t specify on details, but he did suggest that he could be knocked with major penalties from the PGA Tour if he decides to return.
In 2022, DeChambeau was one of the largest names to become a part of LIV Golf, going on to sue the PGA Tour later in the same year along with 10 other golfers. He alleged that the PGA was using its monopoly to hand down suspensions to golfers who signed up for LIV. The next year in May 2023, DeChambeau withdrew from the lawsuit.
DeChambeau also said Tuesday that a possible PGA Tour punishment would be “quite unfortunate in my opinion, considering what I could do for them,” per ESPN.
He also went on record to suggest that the PGA Tour and LIV Golf need to partner in an attempt to reunite men’s professional golf.
