House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., joined FOX News on Sunday to discuss the upcoming midterm election. Johnson, like Americans understand that this election will determine the fate of the nation
“I’m telling you what, you better not bet against the House Republicans.”
Johnson predicted Republicans would retain their House majority and described the midterms as a “contrast election” that would come down to about 19 seats.
God help us!
Peter Doocy: The New York Times is reporting that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Jared Kushner met privately and discussed how Democrats and the administration could work together. What do you make of this?
House Speaker Mike Johnson: “You better NOT bet against the House Republicans. I’ve been all around the country the last several weeks. This is going to come down to a race of about 19 [House] seats that will DECIDE the fate of the Republic. It’s a contract election. Contrast between COMMON sense and crazy…”
Peter Doocy: I’m going to tell a story right now that nobody watching has heard. The other day I had a private meeting with the president in the Oval Office, and it was off the record, most of what we talked about. But you called midway through and he put it on speakerphone. So I kind of heard what you guys were talking about with the midterms. And we’ve got this graphic to put up with the financial advantage that you guys have right now. If we put it up. You guys have $130 million, just the RNC, $130 million with no debt. Just the DNC, $16 million, but they have more debt. If this is the number, if this is the bank, how could you blow that?
Speaker Johnson: Well, and look, that’s just one small piece of it. We have different entities. You know, I’ve broken every fundraising record there ever is for any speaker, any Republican leader in history. I’m not the greatest fundraiser in the world, Peter. It’s that people understand the stakes are so high. People understand this is not a midterm like those we’ve had in the past. This will determine the fate of the Republic. No kidding. If somebody told us 10 years ago that on the 250th anniversary of the greatest nation in the history of the world, we’d be in an open contest to determine whether we’re going to keep with the Republic or go down this other road, I wouldn’t have believed it. But that’s where we are, and let people understand that.

Speaker Johnson has done everything he can to push the Trump agenda through Congress. It is crucial that the GOP keeps the power. Democrats are stone-cold crazy and dangerous!
We must do what we can to help President Trump!
