While bouncing the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, players on the Belgium squad decided to mock President Donald Trump with his iconic “Trump Dance.” The scene took place Monday night in the teams’ Round of 16 match. It was announced by FIFA over the weekend that U.S. forward Folarin Balogun was permitted to compete in the game against Belgium following a red card days before in the Bosnia and Herzegovina match.
In numerous statements, the decision by FIFA was hammered by the Belgian team.

Calling FIFA President Gianni Infantino for a review of the red card on Balogun, it was stated by President Trump that when it comes to the decision from FIFA, Belgium should express happiness.
“The people in Belgium—if they win the game, they can be very proud,” said Trump. “If they would have won the game with the player missing, it would have been a different feeling. You can’t do that, and I’m very glad.”

As we all know, USMNT got flat-out embarrassed by the Belgians in a 4-1 blowout defeat. And during the game, following Belgium getting a fourth score, Belgian players did the Trump dance to mock the U.S. soccer team. And just … ouch.
