It’s a plan that is either brilliant in its simplicity, or just simplistic ― you make the call.
Kilmeade offered a solution for the unpopular Iran war during Friday’s “Fox & Friends” broadcast.
“If they manage to, the people rise up, and if this thing goes in our direction, no one’s factoring in just a win in Iran,” Kilmeade said before elaborating further. “You could turn Iran’s stalemate into a victory for the only president to take them on; that would be momentum that nobody could foresee for the midterms.”
Fellow panelist Ainsley Earnhardt didn’t seem convinced, but mumbled “that would be incredible,” before moving on to other news.
Despite the obvious brilliance of Kilmeade’s plan, many people on social media were skeptical of his notion that the Iranian people might be so obsessed with American politics that they would plot a coup before November to help the GOP win an election.
