A co-anchor on Fox 2 News’ “Good Day Detroit” show couldn’t keep it together when the talk turned to… eating beaver.
During a discussion about History’s reality survival show “Alone,” co-host Deena Centofanti was chatting about how the contestants have to catch their own food to eat when she said: “If you can provide yourself with food and, again, now, they’re ice fishing, because everything is frozen, you’re looking for fat in the beaver. The beaver is the most sought-after.”
The beaver reference sent co-host Ryan Ermanni into hysterics, presumably thanks to the word’s suggestive slang meaning.
Centofanti pushed on, asking, “Ryan, do you think you could eat beaver? Because it’s fat and then it’s meat?”
With his head in his hands for several seconds, and struggling to stop laughing, he replied, “Oh God.”
Then, eventually, he regained some composure and added, “Yeah. I don’t know. I don’t know anything about this show, but you’re really funny. You’re a really funny gal.”
The clip went viral on social media.
Centofanti, meanwhile, wrote online that “you learn stuff” from the televised survival competition.
